The ZED MSME Certification scheme, launched by the Indian government under the Quality Council of India (QCI), aims to raise awareness among Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) about Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) practices. It seeks to motivate and incentivize MSMEs to obtain ZED Certification while also fostering the emergence of MSME Champions.

and empanelled Assessment Agency for the
ZED Certification Scheme.
The GIER Foundation guides MSMEs through the ZED Certification Application Process, ensuring they achieve ZED Certification in the most convenient and hassle-free manner, setting us apart from other assignment agencies. To date, we have successfully completed over 68,000 assessments across bronze, silver, and gold levels, with more on the way.

Micro Enterprise
The definition of Micro manufacturing and services units was increased to Rs. 5 Crore of investment and Rs. 10 Crore of turnover
Small Enterprise
As per definition, the limit of small unit was increased to Rs. 50 Crore of investment and Rs 100 Crore of turnover.
Medium Enterprise
As per definiton, the limit of medium unit was increased to Rs. 250 Crore of investment and Rs. 500 Crore of turnover.
